Bob Schmidt started Schmidt Custom Floors in 1968. He worked from his home (and garage) installing, sanding & finishing floors in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. Schmidt Custom Floors was two employees strong, Bob, and his wife, Ruth. Soon, son Tim was learning and working side by side with his dad in the business. Jeff Satterfield, son-in-law, joined Schmidt Custom Floors in 1986.
Bob is now retired and Tim and Jeff manage the business. The company has grown to a crew of about sixty installers, sanders and finishers and an office staff of about fifteen.
Our goal at Schmidt Custom Floors is to have beautiful, quality floors installed professionally in your homes, above and beyond industry standards. We have a great team in and out of the office!
